The secret sophisticated jewel: The Wittmore!

Hidden in the mysterious gothic quarter, the Wittmore Hotel is a small luxury 5 star hotel. 
There are only 22 rooms so the service is very personalised and warm. Very quiet, the patio is the heart of the hotel with the tallest vertical garden in Barcelona. All rooms face to the patio, the interior is very British and welcoming.
The gastronomic offer of the restaurant is taken care by well known chef Albert Ventura ( of Coure restaurant).

Winter doesn't mean we can't have fun near the beach. Retox Sundays are weekly parties that combine  a creative and relaxed culinary proposal with electronic music.

The Ribe Clinic is a well known clinic using the latest technologies in laser, VelaShapeIII, CoolScultping, Fraxel, Thermage, acne or removing tattoos. The Ribe Clinic is an innovative platform to live & age in style.  Dr Adriana Ribé, Dr in medicine & surgery, specialist in dermatology a pathology has a large recognition with various awards. 
The clinic inaugurated a new place on Pg De Gracia 89. 
400m2 decorated in style by the Architect Xavier Andres. Each corner, each room and each art piece complements the space to offer a stylish yet cozy feeling as soon as you enter. 

Rabat Boutique, glamour & luxury.

When I first came to Spain, I was told that if I needed a watch Rabat, the jewelry store in Badalona was the place to go. Rabat's story started in Badalona where you could get excellent deals and unique designs in watches and jewelry, founded by Esteve Rabat and his late wife Cuca. They created a strong brand and an empire. It then came to Barcelona with Rabat Flash on Pg de Gracia, a romantic atmosphere, incredible windows and incomparable customer service. They opened their second store on Pg De Gracia 99, a bigger and more modern space where you would get a dynamic ambiance and sipped champagne while choosing your designs. 

Art & Luxury in the Majestic Hotel.

Standing majestically on Pg de Gracia, this hotel has an uniqueness that most of the luxury hotels in Barcelona don't have. The visit to this hotel was a very special visit, filled with history, art and emotions. Maybe because it has always been the 5 GL hotel since its opening, more than 100 years ago. It has always belonged to the same family and it has known to adapt to modern times. The hotel has 275 rooms including the suites and penthouses with butler services and other exclusive services. Many famous people have stayed here during the years, such as the Dalai Lama, Antonio Machado, Catherine Deneuve, Joan Miró or Ernst Hemingway among others. 

Unique discoveries at The Costa Brava Fashion Week. July 2015.

Few weeks back I was invited for the Costa Brava Fashion Week in Mas Falet, in St Antoni de Calonge organized by Excellence Life & Moda Catalunya. 
Mas Falet, a traditional masia was the perfect location for this event where we discovered novelties as well as attended some fashion shows. You can see the full program here. Let's see my favorites:

Clandestine shopping & Events at Le Privé!

This is Le Privé by Jordi Del Toro. A peculiar place, situated in the Eixample, this old town "palacete" is in an old building and nobody would know about this hidden treasure. Jordi Del Toro has been in the jewellery business since 30 years and now he has this private apartment where you shop some exclusive pieces of jewelries & art. This multi-space has different corners, where you could organize events, showcookings or a competition.

Sophiscated Casa Fuster!

Once upon a time it was the most luxurious house in Barcelona-  art nouveau building by Luis Domènech i Montaner. In 2004 it went under a huge renovation and here we have the splendid hotel Casa Fuster, belongs to Hotel Center and is a genuine gem. The furnitures has tried to follow the line of art nouveau and compliments  in perfection  the interiors of this wonderful place. It is elegant and cozy. 
Apart from the 96 rooms, & suites with some of the most wonderful views to Pg De Gracia, they have an excellent terrace, open to everyone; a great restaurant with different private corners to hold work meetings or special reunions; a ballroom for events and the Café Vienes to go anytime for a drink. The Café Vienes, offers Jazz sessions every Thursday night in an idyllic entourage.

OPIUM WEDJ's are back with Barcelona's summer!

Once more the WEDJ’S are back with Barcelona summer.

Frank Caro, director of the festival;  Ramon and Javier Bordas, owners of Grupo Costa Este, presented the sixth edition of the international festival WEDJ’s. 

Fashion Meets Food in La Roca Village!

La Roca Village is an outlet with more than 140 boutiques with the most prestigious international as well as local brands. While visiting Barcelona it is worth spending a day out shopping there.  You can reach by car (30 minutes) or you also have a comfortable shuttle that takes you from city center to the outlet. This summer they have added a gourmet market where you will be able to take Spanish goodies back home such olive oils, cold cuts , cava or turrón for instance.
