Fashion Meets Food in La Roca Village!

La Roca Village is an outlet with more than 140 boutiques with the most prestigious international as well as local brands. While visiting Barcelona it is worth spending a day out shopping there. You can reach by car (30 minutes) or you also have a comfortable shuttle that takes you from city center to the outlet. This summer they have added a gourmet market where you will be able to take Spanish goodies back home such olive oils, cold cuts , cava or turrón for instance.
The Gourmet Market is situated in the Lobby Café area. To inaugurate this space, we were invited to a wonderful presentation where Fashion & Gastronomy where the main protagonist.The Torres Brothers- Javier & Sergio from the michelin star restaurant Dos cielos- along with Tamu Mc Pherson- the street style photographer and fashion Blogger : Jamaican born from New York now in Milan- created ten different dishes that inspired Tamu to create 10 different looks. Fashion meets food! We were able to sample one of the dish inspired by the beautiful pure white look of Tamu: The Royal - white asparagus and almonds cream infused in fig leaf.
The Gourmet Market by Cluster Gourmet Catalunya will be on till August 30th. With each 100€ of purchase while shopping for garments and accessories, you will get a different color macaroon depending on the zone you are. If you get all the four different colors: yellow, green, purple and orange; you will enter the raffle with prices such as a 1500€ gift card, a dinner at Dos Cielos, a night at the Hotel Melia Sky or a chauffeur car to come to la Roca Village.
