Udaipur! The city of lakes in the beautiful state of
Rajasthan.A very popular destination, it is really worth going. Incredible
views, majestic heritage hotels, palaces; it has been my favorite trip. You
have the beautiful hotels, the serpentine lanes of the old buzzing town, great
shopping known for their precious stones, and incredible handcraft,
and amazing food!
·
Among
the many hotels, the Taj Lake palace is unique for its ubication and history.
It was built by Maharana Jagat Singh II in 1763. It is in the middle of the Lake Pichola and
you arrive there by boat. The white marble façade, the opulent interiors and
the royal service takes you back to the golden era. You have a boat service to
go to town and back, a spa and various activities to keep you busy. The perfect
romantic getaway in a real life palace.

For me both these hotels have a
different essence, I wouldn’t know how to choose; however the Oberoi Udai Vilas has
a more modern & chic touch that I really enjoyed.
