Everyone has heard of the Celler Can Roca, it is one of the world's best restaurants, each year it appears on the top of the list. You may have also heard of their Ice cream parlour Rocambolesc, which is also situated in Girona. You get to try the ultra famous Can Roca's desserts in the form of ice creams. Jordi Roca, the youngest brother and world's best pastry chef and his enchanting wife started this project and as we say behind every successful man there is a woman.

Ramen and Gelato in the Gotic district! And some vegan options...

On this post I will talk about some of the options you have while walking in the enchanting Gotic district. 

First my new favorite place, a cozy, inviting and informal Ramen Bar! I loved the way Koku Ramen Bar is and loved their homemade lemonade and Ramen. Simplicity at its best. Just Ramen, Japanese noodle soup with a broth ( they serve a totally vegetarian broth too) and toppings such as seaweed, tofu , veggies, meat; you can choose the extras like some butter or toasted garlic...Delish!!! They have vegetarian options, noodles are eggless, it comes with an half boiled egg but you can choose to have the vegan option. 
Sometimes, what else do you need except a bol of ramen and homemade lemonade?

Eyes Scream and friends! The cool shaved ice-cream on Barceloneta!

Check out this ice-cream parlor! Your children will love it and you too. This wonderful gelato is frozen at -25ºC and then shaved and served in their interesting eco friendly container. You enter their cool and inviting place  decorated with their flavor mascots: cheesecake, vanilla, chocolate, yoghurt, berry yoghurt and mango. I believe they are eggless and the mango one is gluten free too. You choose your flavor and 2 toppings and they shave the frozen gelato in the recipient.

The Roca brothers opened the Rocambolesc ice cream parlor, in the old town in the c/ Santa Clara 50, where you can sample the sweet sensations of el Celler de Can Roca.
