La cuisine at the Alma Hotel.

Alma Hotel has always been special, elegant & welcoming: it has a beautiful garden and comfortable rooms. You can read more here on the review I had done sometime back.
Now I come with a more concrete gastronomic offer.
They had a one-day pop up with chef Rodrigo de La Calle. He has worked with some of the best chefs in the world and offers a green Haute Cuisine.
“He created the concept of Revolución Verde elaborating his menu more radically based on fruits & vegetables. Utilizing animal protein like mere seasoning.”
The menu on that day was vegetarian and in my case didn’t have any animal protein. It was a wonder for the eyes and palate.

At the Alma Hotel, the main protagonist is their beautiful garden, and now that the good days are back, it’s wonderful to have a meeting or a bite in their garden.
This summer, in their hidden garden chef Agnes has prepared a tasting menu mainly based on vegetables. It is 65€ pp and it is only for 16 persons.
We had the opportunity to taste some of the dishes she will present in this menu; we also had the dishes served by  chef Giovanni Esteve at the garden restaurant. We had an excellent vegetarian meal in a paradisiac environment.
Gastronomic offer at the Alma:
-       Anytime of the day, tea & coffee corner as well as tea time in winter.
-       A bite at the garden, lunch and dinner at the Garden Alma.
-       Roof top, cocktails offered by Elparadiso and bites by Alma.
-       And now in summer, the exclusive menu at the Hidden garden: " Del Huerto al Jardin"
