Here come some options when you go in a group or with family and children.
- One of my favorite tapas place in town is Paco Meralgo. The Grup Olivé, which it belongs to has various restaurants and recently they have added Barcelona Milano. Proper for big groups, it is huge and offers options to make all the family members happy: Italian or Catalan options in BarcelonaMilano restaurant. Great products, great service and a beautiful place. On C/ de Villarroel, 190 Telf: 934 307 279
- Filburg is burger place but is a proper formal restaurant to go in big groups. They have few vegetarian snacks and a veggie burger- which was quite bland- but in the whole the experience was good and is nice to go in family with kids included. On Av. de Josep Tarradellas 138 Tel: 936 67 08 12
- We went for my niece's birthday to JapiSushi , a very casual place near the Port. Near the famous Xampaneria, where you should go and have some of their rosé cava or purchase some bottles. JapiSushi is a simple restaurant with few vegetarian options but they are very adjustable. Their other options were very good too according to the other members on the table. - Another Japanese which is good is Rojo, part of Rojo Negro of Tragaluz on Diagonal. Opened since years now, their vegetarian options are quite good, friendly staff but it gets too crowded and then it can be a bit chaotic. Av. Diagonal, 640.
- Another Japanese we just discovered is Monster Sushi, very casual ambiance, nice to go with kids. Their desserts are wonderful! One of the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Plaça de Gal·la Placídia, 25.
- Davita Market is a New York style Eataly Market. It is good to go with kids as you can choose from the different stalls; everyone gets a credit card to order and you pay at the exit. The ambiance was just ok and the food was all right. it is fun to go with kids though. Carrer del Rosselló, 231,
