Mercat Princessa |
The Mercat Princesa opened
its door a couple of weeks back. This old palace, from the XIV century,
situated in the Born area-on the calle Sabataret- has become a gastronomic
space where you have a food court with different restaurants, run by young and
creative chefs.
While shopping in the
trendy Born, you could stop there for a bite. They have different cuisines like
your usual tapas as well as Italian and Asian cuisine for instance. It is opened everyday from 9 am to midnight or
till 1 am on weekends.
This informal market in the beautiful palace is an
innovative concept. We went the first week they opened; they were still not too
prepared with the amount of people that were there.
Apart from admiring
the beautiful architecture, and eating or drinking they also have a photo
exhibition, concerts...
I am sure that very
soon it will be quite a popular place in our
BelleBarcelone.
