Aiguablava, the paradisiac getaway!

Summer is almost here, the sky is blue and the sun shines most of the time. Costa Brava has always been my favorite destination and not long ago I discovered Begur. Begur is a little town with an incredible coast. Cliff, pine trees, hidden coves with cristal clear water makes this coast a magical one. Begur is small, it has its cute city center and eight different beaches: sucha as Sa Riera, Sa Tuna, Fornells...We stayed at the Aigua Blava hotel on the Aigua Blava beach.
For me Aigua Blava is the most beautiful and special  beachwith its crystal clear water and fine sand. The hotel overlooks the bay and has incredible views. The hotel has a sea salt water pool and a direct access to the bay: a long and sinuous walk with stairs and rocks but very much worth the most incredible views! The hotel's restaurant has a wonderful selection of dishes and great vegetarian choices, the maitre d', Luisito, was very helpful and an authentic gentleman.
We also ate in the town of Begur in the café Begur which was an old palatial house turned into a restaurant with great tapas.
July & August will be very busy but you can have a wonderful relaxing time now. For more info of the hotel here.
