La Guerite

I always say Barcelona is a great city and when you have a long weekend we have so many nearby coast & mountain towns we can escape to disconnect. This time was a special celebration and we drove to the French Riviera, Cannes in the Côte D’azur. I just love Cannes and its glamour life as well as its charming corners, the Croisette and the beach clubs. On our last escapade to the south of France,  we discovered the Island Sainte-Marguerite nestled on the rocky cove in front of Cannes. We had lunch at La Guerite. They handle the transport from Port Baoli in Cannes.
La Guerite, in a paradisiac setting, offers authentic Mediterranean cuisine with the greek chef Yiannis Kioroglou behind the scenes. This dreamy setting offers good food & great service at the rhythm of live music, while you sip some rosé and your feet are caressing the golden sand.

Since 1935, the charming restaurant has seduced a worldwide clientele. We are now fans too. Open in summer till October.
