Trip to London and a day in Bath!

London is the perfect getaway for an elegant shopping spree, gourmet experiences, cultural visits and long walks. I have one older post on London with great options and here is a second one. You can never get bored in London, there is just so much to do, between their museums and gardens you can just spend a lovely time.
Here are some shopping, walking and gourmet options in London.

We also did a day trip to the city of Bath and I would highly recommend it if you have some time. It is a picturesque little town, the weekend we had gone was the Jane Austen Festival. We saw a large gathering of people dressed in regency's costumes. It was like being back in time. Beautiful!
Bath is also known for their spas. it is the only city in UK where you can bathe in naturally hot water an have original roman style baths. Beautiful little town with lovely walks, shopping, pubs and restaurants.

This maybe the typical tourist pic , but it stunk inside :(

We walked and entered a pub, with great vegetarian options: The Blacksmith and the Toffeemaker

 Walking around Convent Garden:

Trying the British Eton Mess: Handmade huge meringues, fresh strawberries and cream!

The amazing United Nude stores, on of my favorite shoe brands!

While in the area, one must stop at Dishoom! For typical Bombay street food!

I just love the Liberty store!

We stayed at the Cumberland, well situated- where Oxford street meets Park Lane. The service was excellent. Their lobby is contemporary, striking and spacious and their executive lounge is perfect at tea time after a long morning of walking and shopping!!

Busaba Eathai: perfect casual thai meal!

Sunday at the Camden market!

                                    The City of Bath:

We just saw a huge line outside and wanted to know more! Oh my god, those were the best buns I ever ate. A must!!! At Sally Lunns!

A wonderful and gastronomic vegetarian restaurant: The Acorn Vegetarian Kitchen, another must!
