Florence -Firenze- capital
of Tuscany, filled with history and art. I have always loved Florence, it is a
vibrant and beautiful city. Have you read Inferno, the latest Dan Brown book? You may want to discover
the labyrinthine
corridors of Palazzo Veccio and much more.
Firenze: getting lost in those little lanes, stopping for a
glass of Proseco, admiring The Basilica
di Santa Maria del Fiore, the beautiful architecture, having a slice of
pizza, a cone of Gelato, walking on the Ponte Veccio, visit the Uffizi Gallery
or any other museums.
Book the museums online before, it is always very busy.
Are you into shopping, then Florence is the place for you, if you go during
sales u will get good bargains at many high brand stores, such as Prada,
Gucci... Visit the Salvatore Ferragamo museum too and their huge store. You can
also go to the "Mall", the huge outlet, 30 minutes away from
Florence: http://www.themall.it/it/outlet-toscana/homepage.html You can stay around there too if you want to
be away from the city, we stayed at the Villa Rigacci in Regello:
http://www.villarigacci.it/ Nice place
to stay to discover Tuscany, to shop and to enjoy. Otherwise in Florence you
have a lot of very good hotels and apartments.
Have a safe trip and enjoy your shopping!
