Welcome to Peru! Exquisite dishes at The Market Barcelona!

This has been my 1st experience having Peruvian food. I had met Nicky Ramos, the executive chef of the Market restaurant a couple of times. He is so passionate about his food and what he does. He promised me he would elaborate some original vegetarian dishes. I didn't know what to expect as I know they have more of seafood and meat in their cuisine. I went with a friend last week and we got to try different dishes, fusion food with a strong Peruvian inclination but with many Asian influences due to the large part of population of asian descent in Peru.

I was pleasantly surprised with all the dishes I tried. My friend tried some non vegetarian dishes and loved it too.
The Market is a great cozy place situated in the Gracia district among other top restaurants just opposite the Hotel Casa Fuster.
Great for a special lunch,  dinner with friends or a romantic one as well. The service is impeccable, the dishes are delicately presented, the taste is wonderful and their drinks are great. Try their new dishes in their spring menu!
