Takashi Ochiai for wonderful croissants and exquisite Catalan and Japanese desserts!

Takashi Ochiai, in Urgell street since 1983 is a pastry shop that offers the regular cakes and "viennoiseries" as well as  Niponese delicatessen such as  Dorayaki (if you are a Doraemon fan you will know what it is), Mochi, Kastera, Matcha Tea cakes  and more. They recently shifted in the corner of their previous store and they have a space where you can sit and enjoy their products. They won, last October, the award for the best butter croissant in Spain. Try their speciality, the mango croissant and the delicious strawberry short cake !
I had eaten a cake some years back and they were good at that time and are still delicious today. Takashi, the "patissier"  is in Spain since 30 years.
