 So while walking and shopping, around Passeig de Gracia and Rbla de Catalunya , you can find all the stores the upper scale ones as well as your usual Mango Zara HM...Passeig de Gracia is considered the most expensive lane in Barcelona and Spain, and is in the list of the top 10 luxurious lanes in Europe.  When shopping or just looking around, you may need some energy to continue.
Just opposite La Pedrera, Le Pain Quotidien, in La Dreta de l'Eixample, on calle provenza, will offer you "pain et marmelades", "petit pain au chocolat", delicious tartines and the most exquisite " oeufs benedicte". You can grab something and continue to walk or savor a mint tea in their homey and rustic café, with some communal tables and cozy corners. It is great for brunch with kids. Don't miss their belgium chocolate milk! This international chain from Brussels, has opened its door in BelleBarcelone  and has many bakeries all over the world India, US , UK, France...

Maybe you prefer a glass of wine? La Vinoteca Torres on Pg de Gracia is a great spot to check your shopping bags, bills, rest your little feet and plot your next shopping move. They have great wine by the glass, and the usual tapas. You could sit outside and watch the people walk or sit in their wooden and modern bar. You can also purchase wines and oil.

Shopping is not only clothes, shoes and bags, it can also be Food. You have Mary's Market on Boulevard Rosa on Passeig de Gracia. It is a gourmet food store, has a large variety of cheese , divided by texture, countries and taste; many jams and sauces, fresh pastas... an incredible thin crust apple pie. They also have a small café in the corner. On Saturdays evening they often hold wine and cheese tastings. It is not cheap but really worth a visit.

You also have the emblematic grocery store on Rambla de Catalunya ( esq c/Aragon) "Colmado Quilez". Beside the good customer service, you will find plenty  of high quality food, good asparagus, Iranian caviar their huge variety of wines, beers and liquors. It is a must for all gourmet food lovers. You can also admire their window with their nice display of canned food, beautiful bottles...

To finish your day, if you continue walking towards Placa Catalunya on Rbla de Catalunya, you will pass by Cachitos . Cachitos is a tapas bar in a very chic environment, traditional yet with a cutting edge ambiance.You can have breakfast lunch or dinner. Try their "montaditos", the " Carpaccio de Tomate" or " queso de cabra con trufa" ...The decor has a different mix of furniture, and has many different areas. While inside you will feel you are in different restaurants, the outside bar, inside, indoor terrace , downstairs bar. They all have a character of their own, the tapas are good and they have 50 different "sangrias".  It has a good cocktail selection  and open till late am.
