Mirazur, views with flavors!

Last august we had a special celebration and the venue couldn’t have been better.
Situated in the Côte D’Azur, Mirazur just moments away from the Italian border, has a stunning view and its chef brings the best of his Argentine-Italian heritage fusioned with the best ingredients of France.
Mauro Colagreco was born in Argentine and headed to France  in 2001 and worked with some of the best as Bernard Loiseau, Alain Passsard or Alain Ducasse.
In 2006 he settled in Menton in a 1950´s building and that was the birth of Mirazur, where it won its 1st Michelin Star within a year and its second in 2012. He is this year, number 4 in the World's 50 Best.
Our experience was a mix of all senses where the most delicate ingredients met fresh vegetables to offer us a pastel palette in our vegetarian menu.

·      Welcoming appetizers:
1.     Infused Watermelon and Beetroot canapés. Look at the view: on the picture above, it just looks so precious like  a perfect painting.

2.     The flavored carrots: orange Color!

3.     Chou Rave. Crunchy delicatessen

·      Caesar’s Mushroom with Pistachio Vinaigrette

·      “The Bread”, freshly baked warm bread with a lemon and ginger infused olive oil. The best start the meal where sharing really means caring here. The bread is served with a poem from Pablo Neruda. The poetic way to perfection.

·      “The Tomato”. This simple fruit takes another significance here at Mirazur. It has a menu on its own. And when the ingredients are so natural the taste just surpass the expectation.
1.     Martini, saffron dressing and wild flowers.

2.     Green Tomato gazpacho and ice-cream.

3.     Grilled Tomato Steak.

4.     The Flower.

·      Aubergine with Red Miso.

·      Gratinated onions with Comté cheese.

·      The Desserts
1.     Fig textures : Pannacota, fig jelly and granite.

2.     Naranjo en Flor: Sospel’s St Joseph saffron, almond foam and orange sorbet.

·      The Celebration Cake

·      Petit Fours.

The different variety if Infused olive oil.
