El Palauet,the urban palace: a unique stay or a magical event!

Les Cols with Chef Fina Puigdevall: the philosophy behind this 2 michelin star!

Situated in Olot, I had heard about  Les Cols and had met Fina the chef a few weeks back. Les Cols, which turns 25 this year, is a restaurant with two Michelin stars  located in the family farm where Fina Puigdevall was born. She has many awards for her catalan cuisine; the restaurant has been featured among the most beautiful restaurants in the world in some prestigious books and magazines. Her radical commitment for local ingredients and sustainable cuisine can be tasted in the fine dining restaurant and an open and modern reserved for celebrations. Puigdevall defines her cuisine as "sober but essential; austere and humble intuitive, intimate and authentic." It is a KM 0 cuisine, which means the menu varies upon the season, using what is available nearby and in her own garden. 

Luxury stay or Sunday Brunch in the classy Alma Hotel!

The Alma Hotel in Barcelona is in the city center just off Pg De Gracia -one of  the most luxurious avenues in Europe. It isn't a buzzing and noisy city center hotel, on the contrary in it an oasis of peace and luxury where you can disconnect in a beautiful and comfortable surrounding. It is perfect for a romantic escapade or a business trip. 
They are now offering a wonderful brunch on Sundays where hotel guests as well as locals are welcomed. It is served  from 11pm to 4pm; 35€ pp.

Last year I had mentioned the exclusive products by Heaven at the Abac hotel. These products made with bee venom are used by many celebrities around the world and are very dear to the British royal family. The Banker's Bar with new cocktails and fingerfood by Ángel León!

 Banker's bar has been one of my favorite bar in town. Situated in the Mandarin Oriental on Pg De Gracia, this antique bank refurbished into this emblematic hotel has exclusive gourmet offers in  Moments -2 michelin star- By Carmen Ruscadella - the  only woman in the world with 6 michelin stars- and her son Raül Balam; and the recently incorporated Ángel León - of the michelin star Aponiente,  in Bistreau with Ismael Alonso. 

Cirque du Soleil & The Adria Brothers get together and present: Heart!

I came to know about it few months back but it wasn't yet official. The Cirque du Soleil & The Adrià brothers have joined to create Heart. A new concept, by the creative Adrià brothers -Ferran & Albert- & Guy Laliberté -Founder of Cirque du Soleil- will open in the iconic Gran Hotel in Ibiza. We got the official release on Valentine's day coinciding Heart and Love. Ferran Adria from the famous and world known El Bulli and his younger brother Albert have constructed a gastronomy park in the Parallel Area of Barcelona in a joint venture with the Iglesias brothers: Bcn 5.0. Now they are broadening their empire joining with none other than the world renowned Cirque du Soleil to offer us this project.
