Today I come with a Barcelona classic and recently renovated
: La Dama.
This emblematic restaurant in the Barcelona panorama, has
changed owners over the years, was even closed for sometime but this classic
restaurant couldn’t just disappear. Situated in the Catalan art nouveau Casa
Sayrach building on Diagonal, you enter the building and the doorman will
escort you to the door of the restaurant. From the beginning itself it is a unique
experience. They offer a French cuisine using the local
ingredients, and served tastefully; you will also come across their bar that
offers creative cocktails. The full interior is done in style and conveys a
unique charm. You can encounter private rooms as well as cozy corners. You have
views to the road from their huge windows. You really feel at home in their
dining room, the food is excellent and the service was just incredible. The
perfect elegant touch you need for a special day. They offer a lunch menu as
well as brunch on Saturdays with live music.
