Some hotel dining options in Barcelona.

When I first came in Barcelona, going for a cup of tea or for a drink in a hotel wasn't really the thing.
I am glad that it has changed and we have quite a few trendy places to go to chill out in a sophisticated atmosphere.

I would recommend for any jazz lovers the experience of the Jazz club on Thursdays from 9 to 11pm at the Café Vienes in the hotel Casa Fuster. You have 3 options : the Duke Ellington menu for 100€, Louis Amstrong menu 65€ pp (tapas) or just a drink for 19€. All these in a beautiful & unique setting where you get to relax and enjoy life.

The Hotel Omm has a gastronomic restaurant ROCA MOO. This restaurant is overseen by the world's best restaurant Celler de Can Roca and managed by chef Juan Pretel. One michelin star, Moo offers catalan cuisine wih a twist.
The ROCA BAR, is a fun and more accessible bar with great dishes, quality products and here too chef Alberto Garcia is advised by the Roca brothers. Open from 1pm onwards, it is great to go anytime. Do no miss their chocolate coulant! In summer the terrace is open to the locals at night where you get few signature dishes from the Roca Bar, a sushi bar, wonderful cocktails, great views to La Pedrera & live music fromTuesday to Saturday.

The Majestic hotel is well known for its  trendy terrace. Nandu Jubany is the advisor chef of the hotel. So you will appreciate his elegant touch in the resturant , in the breakfast buffet and of course in the terrace. Their Sunday Champagne brunch, with Moet & Chandon, is quite popular: 59€
They also offer a lunch menu on weekdays which include starters & desserts from the buffet table and a show cooking main dish. This option is for 30 € and is an excellent option for a business meeting or a quiet important lunch.

At the hotel Condes de Barcelona you have the Loidi restaurant. It is a contemporary bistro  Martin where the famous chef Martin Berasategui makes his cuisine more accessible to everyone. Basque cusine served with imagination. I just love their Terraza Al Aire, the perfect place to meet afterwork. they have a good selection of small dishes and drinks. Their views are wonderful. It is open the full year.
