The 2nd editon of Tast a La Rambla!


 From 11 to 14 June, about fifty of the best restaurants, bars and bakeries in the city will make the Rambla de Santa Monica a great culinary festival. After the success of the first edition, with 500,000 visitors, this year new proposals are introduced to enhance the experience of visiting Tast A La Rambla.Tast tapas will be offered at a price of 4.5 euros, or 4 tapas at 16€.

Tast La Rambla was born with the desire to become, each early summer the great gastronomic landmark of the city of Barcelona, ​​while La Rambla is claimed as a great recreational Barcelona axis for all audiences.There will be a variety of Barcelona's diverse cuisine present.

These tapas  can be purchased at a price of 4.5 euros , or with a formula of 4 tapas for 16 euros.

"AULA TAST" WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES IN THE ARTS SANTA MONICA
Along with the tasting, there is a program of activities called "Aula Tast" where the protagonists are restaurants and bakeries involved in this gastronomic event. The workshops take place at the Arts Santa Monica (La Rambla, 7), and will offer live and specialized lectures in a classroom with cooking workshops, audiovisual and audience. Open to the public, admission is free (limited capacity for 156 people).
This year will involve chefs such as Carles Gaig, Ly Leap (Indochine), Jordi Esteve (Nectari), Jordi Herrera (Manairó), Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch  & Mateu Casañas (Disfrutar), Oscar Manresa (House Guinart), Joan Begur (Oaxaca) Xavier Franco (Saüc) or Jordi Conesa (Hard Rock Cafe), among others; entrepreneurs like Francesco Giardina (Cinzano), Jordi Mas (Mas Gourmets), Marc Romera (Olis La Boella); professionals like Xevi Ramon and Marc Marti (Triticum) or Nobuyuki Tajiri (Balfegó), Carlos Cervantes (Damm), Massimo Pignata (master ice cream DelaCrem), as well as experts Mar Mendoza (tannic sommelier by Freixenet), Xavi Nolla (winemaker and Codorniu Raimat). - 

THE CONTEST II TAPAS "TAST La Rambla"
Apart from the tasting stands and the "Aula Tast", this 2nd edition of Barcelona's  Gastronomy of Barcelona raises once again the possibility of the bars, restaurants and pastry shops located in La Rambla to participate with an outstanding initiative: the II Competition Tast Tapas La Rambla. The event is to provide an  coverage created for the occasion, everyone can enjoy these facilities at the special price of € 3.50, and will be assessed by a jury made up of different professionals. On Sunday 14 the winner will be announced.
