Mano Rota, a wonderful tasting menu!

I had heard of Mano Rota, as it's been trendy since it opened a couple of months back. Situated in Poble Sec, surrounded by lots of bars, I didn't really know what to expect. I thought maybe a casual place with innovative dishes, as the chefs have had 10 years of training with the best at Hofmann school and with prestigious chefs. I called for booking and enquired if they had some vegetarian dishes.
So here we are on a buzzing Friday night, we got the last table available, buzzing and full I loved the atmosphere as soon as I stepped in. We were seated at the bar, but you have tables and also a great corner for a large group.

They have 2 tasting menu for 35 and 55€. We took the shorter one and we had a great meal; the people around us with their usual meat and fish menu seemed very happy too. The chefs,  are dedicated to their work and adapt to the client's demands. The service was profesional and helpful, the wine list is short but complete. I would recommend it for a special dinner, in a small group or as a couple, not a quiet romantic place but a cool and sophisticated restaurant where you can have a fine meal. C/ Creu dels Molers 4 Tel:(+34) 93 164 80 41
